At Lapland Ice Driving, you will discover- or perfect- your driving skills in extreme conditions.
You can choose from among a fleet of more than 30 exceptional cars.
Before each season begins, we take the greatest car preparing the fleet. Our purpose is clear- each car must be capable of:
- coping with Swedish Lapland’s extreme conditions
- and ensuring maximum fun, convenience and efficiency
Nothing is left to chance
To give you the maximum thrill, each car undergoes specific preparation, ensuring that pleasure is at the heart of your driving, while at the same time guaranteeing your safety. Our teams study first of all the chassis configuration of each vehicle, to establish which parts need protection and replacement. This means that for each new model in our fleet, there’ll be around 15-20 days necessary for our teams to complete the study, manufacture and installation.

First of all, our teams study the configuration of each car to determine which parts need protection and replacement.
Main parts needing modification:
- suppression of all electronic or hydraulic driving aids (ABS, ESP…)
- reinforcement of front and rear shields
- underbody protection
- fitting front shield protection overrider
- replacement of various mechanical parts
- modification of brake-force distribution, and sometimes redesign of a new braking system with change of calliper, discs, pads and master cylinders
- installation of an LED light bar to provide daylight-level illumination.
- choice and mounting of spiked tyres (number of spikes depends on car type)
- modification of ride heights, chassis adjustment and if necessary suspension.
