      Precision engineering, where nothing Is left to chance<\/h2>\n

      To optimize our sports cars for ice driving, several modifications are carried out : original bumpers are replaced with fibreglass or polycarbonate components, increasing resistance in the event of contact and preventing unnecessary damage.<\/p>\n

      Flat floors and plastic or carbon underbodies are swapped for aluminum replacements, offering both greater mechanical strength and enhanced protection against ice and gravel spatters.<\/p>\n

      Each supercar then undergoes specific adjustments, in line with its DNA and dynamic characteristics. Mitsubishi models are equipped with shock absorbers derived from those used in the Andros Trophy, fine-tuned for maximum grip on low-friction surfaces. Challenge models retain their racing configuration, but with a setup adapted for ice, ensuring progressive handling and ease of control at any driving level.<\/p>\n

      Afin d\u2019optimiser nos sportives pour la conduite sur glace, plusieurs modifications sont r\u00e9alis\u00e9es : Les pare-chocs d\u2019origine sont remplac\u00e9s par des \u00e9l\u00e9ments en fibre de verre ou en polycarbonate, afin d\u2019augmenter la r\u00e9sistance en cas de contact pour \u00e9viter tout dommage.<\/p>\n

      Les fonds plats et soubassements plastiques et carbones sont remplac\u00e9s par des copies en aluminium, offrant \u00e0 la fois une meilleure r\u00e9sistance m\u00e9canique et une protection accrue contre les projections de glace et de gravillons.<\/p>\n

      Chaque v\u00e9hicule fait ensuite l\u2019objet d\u2019un travail sp\u00e9cifique, en coh\u00e9rence avec son ADN et ses caract\u00e9ristiques dynamiques : Les Mitsubishi sont \u00e9quip\u00e9es d\u2019amortisseurs d\u00e9riv\u00e9s de ceux utilis\u00e9s en comp\u00e9tition sur le Troph\u00e9e Andros, optimis\u00e9s pour l\u2019adh\u00e9rence sur surfaces \u00e0 faible friction. Les mod\u00e8les Challenge conservent leur configuration racing, mais avec un set-up adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 la glace, permettant une prise en main progressive quel que soit le niveau de pilotage.<\/p>\n

      First of all, our teams study the configuration of each car to determine which parts need protection and replacement.<\/p>\n

      Main parts needing modification:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • suppression of all electronic or hydraulic driving aids (ABS, ESP\u2026)<\/li>\n
      • reinforcement of front and rear shields<\/li>\n
      • underbody protection<\/li>\n
      • fitting front shield protection overrider<\/li>\n
      • replacement of various mechanical parts<\/li>\n
      • modification of brake-force distribution, and sometimes redesign of a new braking system with change of calliper, discs, pads and master cylinders<\/li>\n
      • installation of an LED light bar to provide daylight-level illumination.<\/li>\n
      • choice and mounting of spiked tyres (number of spikes depends on car type)<\/li>\n
      • modification of ride heights, chassis adjustment and if necessary suspension.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Nos \u00e9quipes \u00e9tudient d\u2019abord la configuration de chaque voiture pour d\u00e9terminer les \u00e9l\u00e9ments \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger et \u00e0 remplacer. \u00c0 chaque nouveau mod\u00e8le de voiture int\u00e9gr\u00e9 dans la flotte, c\u2019est 15 \u00e0 20 jours d\u2019\u00e9tude, fabrication et installation qu\u2019il faut \u00e0 nos \u00e9quipes pour r\u00e9aliser le premier \u00e9quipement complet.<\/p>\n

        Principaux \u00e9l\u00e9ments qui font l\u2019objet d\u2019une modification :<\/p>\n

          \n
        • neutralisation \u00e9lectronique ou hydraulique de tous les syst\u00e8mes d\u2019aide \u00e0 la conduite (ABS, ESP,\u2026).<\/li>\n
        • renforcement des boucliers avant et arri\u00e8re.<\/li>\n

        • installation d\u2019un sabot de protection du bouclier avant.<\/li>\n

        • modification des r\u00e9partitions de freinage, et parfois red\u00e9finition d\u2019un nouveau syst\u00e8me de freinage avec changement des \u00e9triers, des disques, des plaquettes et des ma\u00eetres cylindres.<\/li>\n
        • installation d’une barre de LED pour voir comme en plein jour.<\/li>\n
        • choix et montage de pneus clout\u00e9s (cloutage en fonction du type de voiture).<\/li>\n
        • modification des hauteurs de caisse, r\u00e9glage du ch\u00e2ssis et parfois des suspensions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
