You’ll have the opportunity to push these masterpieces of automotive engineering to incredible speeds on the ice, always in the safest of conditions. The preparation of each car requires approximately 60 hours of meticulous work- per car- by our technical teams, guaranteeing a driving experience both electrifying as well as safe.<\/p>\n

      Meticulous preparation where nothing is left to chance<\/h2>\n

      In order to optimise our sportscars for ice driving, various modifications are made: the original bumpers are replaced by fibreglass or polycarbonate parts, in order to increase robustness and prevent any damage in the event of collision.<\/p>\n

      The flat undersides and plastic\/carbon bases are replaced by aluminium copies, offering both better mechanical strength and increased protection against ice and gravel chips.<\/p>\n

      Each vehicle is then subject to work specific to its DNA and dynamic characteristics: Mitsubishi engines are equipped with shock absorbers derived from those used in Andros Trophy competition, optimised for grip on low-friction surfaces. The Challenge models retain their racing configuration, but with a set-up adapted to the ice, allowing progressive control regardless of the driving level.<\/p>\n

      Our teams first study the configuration of each car to determine which parts need to be protected and\/or replaced. For each new car model integrated into the fleet, our teams need 15 to 20 days of study, manufacturing and installation to finalise the first complete example.<\/p>\n

      Chaque v\u00e9hicule fait ensuite l\u2019objet d\u2019un travail sp\u00e9cifique, en coh\u00e9rence avec son ADN et ses
      caract\u00e9ristiques dynamiques : Les Mitsubishi sont \u00e9quip\u00e9es d\u2019amortisseurs d\u00e9riv\u00e9s de ceux utilis\u00e9s en comp\u00e9tition sur le Troph\u00e9e Andros, optimis\u00e9s pour l\u2019adh\u00e9rence sur surfaces \u00e0 faible friction. Les mod\u00e8les Challenge conservent leur configuration racing, mais avec un set-up adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 la glace, permettant une prise en main progressive quel que soit le niveau de pilotage.<\/p>\n

      Nos \u00e9quipes \u00e9tudient d\u2019abord la configuration de chaque voiture pour d\u00e9terminer les \u00e9l\u00e9ments \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger et \u00e0 remplacer. \u00c0 chaque nouveau mod\u00e8le de voiture int\u00e9gr\u00e9 dans la flotte, c\u2019est 15 \u00e0 20 jours d\u2019\u00e9tude, fabrication et installation qu\u2019il faut \u00e0 nos \u00e9quipes pour r\u00e9aliser le premier \u00e9quipement complet.<\/p>\n
