    Otherwise known among experts as “the Green Hell”,
    the Nürburgring has the reputation of being both a very technical
    as well as a demanding circuit. It consists of two tracks –
    the 20 KM “Nordschleife” (northern loop) which still hosts
    the 24-hour Nürburgring event, and the 5.7 km “Modern Circuit”
    which has been the home of the German F1 Grand Prix since 1984,
    alternating with the Hockenheim circuit.
